Last Thursday I shared some of the cards I created with the retiring Flowers for Every Season Memories & More card pack and DSP. I bet you thought there were no more cards to be made from this set, but you’ll be incredibly surprised! There are 50 double-sided card in the card pack, so that’s up to 50 cards. Add some of the matching DSP, and your card stash becomes almost unlimited!
Today’s cards are fun fold cards to highlight the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More card pack. Here are three of them.
For each card I used a Basic White card base, but cut away a portion of the front so you see part of the inside of the card. This first one uses a 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece, scored and fold at 4-1/4″. Next I cut off 2-1/4″ off the front and adhered the Misty Moonlight dotted DSP to the remaining piece. The Memories & More card attached to the front flap so that it is centered on the entire card. Just be sure to only put your adhesive on the card piece that attaches to that blue section. I’ve accidentally been a little too enthusiastic with my glue in the past and glued my card shut. Just saying – be careful! (LOL). I popped the greeting up with glue dots. On the inside, the back design on the pink daisy/sunflower card is sunflowers, so they made a nice accent when you open the card.
This second card uses the same template, different DSP piece and one of the bright, multi-flower cards. Again I used one of the cutout greetings. However, the pattern on the back of this card didn’t work for the inside, so I cut a piece of matching flower DSP to cover the portion that was showing.
This card is a 4-1/4″ x 11″ base, folded in half. I cut 2-1/2″ off the bottom of the front, added the DSP, then another of the same Memories & More card. The greeting was popped up with dimensionals.
For the last card for today I used one of the 4″ x 6″ cards with the flowers on each side. I fussy cut around both, adding one piece to the front and the other piece to the inside. I added the string of pearls to dress the card up and used one of the sticker labels for my greeting. I’m leaving it blank for now so when I need it I can add an appropriate greeting.
To make these cards you’ll need the same supplies as yesterday cards, so if you have them from yesterday, you are ready to go. If not, here’s the list:
