About Me

Hi, and welcome to my paper crafting blog. I’m the oldest of 5 girls and the “bossy one” as my sisters always say! Here’s a Christmas picture of the three oldest girls. The last 2 are twins and born about 3 years after this photo was taken. I know, it dates me-LOL!

I’ve always done some type of crafting.  As a young girl I was cutting paper dolls and their outfits out of my mom’s magazines.  Then I started making my own clothes. When I finished college, I added quilting to my many hobbies.  When I remarried and moved cross-country, I started scrapbooking to document our travels and adventures with family. Back in Houston, I discovered Stampin’ Up! paper crafting and I was hooked! I became a demonstrator in 2011 and I have had so much fun that my other craft hobbies have “fallen by the wayside”

I love how easy it is to create cards, projects and 3-D gifts with the incredible Stampin’ Up! products. No more “now why did I buy that and what do I do with it?”. This is one of the most creative things I ever done and I love sharing what I do.

I’m married to my best friend who indulges me by allowing me all the time I want to do my paper crafting (of course, that leaves him time to do what he likes – work on his research work!).

And all throughout my life I’ve had cats – here are my current “babies” watching their lizard crawl up the window screen. They are mesmerized by them! And I’ve since added a chair by the window so they can lay down and watch him at eye level.

Life is what you make it…
