As things are returning to normal and many of you are returning to in-person work and events, does it seem like your crafting time has diminished? But do you still want to create cards, not buy them? One of the best solutions I can recommend is to use your Memories & More card packs! They require very little time, stamping and creating but create beautiful cards.
I pulled out the remainder of my Flowers for Every Season Memories & More card pack and the coordinating Flowers for Every Season DSP. Both are retiring May 3 (and on sale!) so I thought I try to use them up to show you how easy it is to make cards with these products. And I also wanted to give you time to grab these deals before May 3!
My first card used one of the 4″ x 6″ cards on a Memories & More card base. This front is typically used as a journal card, but I decided why not on the front of a greeting card? The greeting stickers are the outlines leftover after I used the word stickers on my previous cards (see them here). Yes, I had to fussy cut them out, but what a great way to use everything!
Inside I used one of the matching flower stickers to coordinate with the outside.
These next three cards used a 3″ x 4″ card on the front of A4 size card base. The two Just Jade ones used a piece of the Flowers for Every Season DSP for the background and one of the Memories & More cards centered on top with dimensionals. One of the cards is a series of words on it and I cut them apart to use as the greetings on these cards – no stamping required!
This is the inside of the one on the left with a border strip of the DSP and a few of the sticker flowers from the Memories & More card pack. I’ll add a piece of the same DSP to the envelope flap for color and coordination.
On the center card, I cut the center out of the 3″ x 4″ card using my paper trimmer. It was easy to do by using the markings and guides. I used a piece of Basic White cardstock and add another of the cutout greetings. The large matching flower in the corner was another of the stickers in the Memories & More card pack. On the inside I used another of the 3″ x 4′ cards, but this time added the Basic White piece on top. I added one of the bow stickers to the corner for a little flourish.
The third card was a little more work, but still easy. You get 2 of each card in the Memories & More card pack, so I used one as the underlayer, then fussy cut the image out of the second card and layered it on top with lots of dimensionals. More of the greetings cut from one of the cards and a few Pearl Basic jewels for fun.
Inside I added a matching strip of the DSP and another of the matching flower stickers. Little touches like this are easy to do and really make a beautiful card.
My last card for today (there are many more I’ll share tomorrow and Monday!) used the very bright roses 3″ x 4″ card offset on a Misty Moonlight card base. Another of the cutout greetings and a matching rose sticker to complete the front. Of course, more Pearl Basic jewels for this elegant card.
Here’s what you need to create these cards:
