Cupcakes and carousels, but where are they?

As you know, I tend to like bright colors better, so wanted to challenge myself with something else for my next birthday card creation.  I pulled out my more subtle Cupcakes & Carousels paper stack to find a paper for my next card and was surprised to see no cupcakes and only one carousel in the whole group. But it works for me. I’m combining two challenges with this card – PCC226 “birthday” theme (how easy!!) and TGIFc90 template.

I stretched the TGIFc90 challenge template with this card, but I really wanted to try out my new Star Blast framelits! And the cute new Party Animal (oops, back to the brights, but it matches!) balloon charms were perfect as the accent on the card. I added sparkles with rhinestones to cover the charm loop.

Card dimensions so you can make this card:

• Very Vanilla card base cut 4-1/4″ x 11″, folded in half
• Bermuda Bay – 4″ x 5-1/4″
• Cupcakes & Carousels paper, this was a little tricky since I wanted the starburst centered,  3-3/4″ x 5″
• Early Espresso – 4″ x 1-1/2″
• Calypso Coral – 3-3/4″ x 1-14″
• The starburst and swirl were also cut from Calypso Coral.
