I’m loving the Tropical Escape suite of products, have you figured that one out yet?! Today’s cards are a CASE from Amy O’Neill’s FMS348 sketch card from several weeks ago. I loved her idea using the Tropical thinlits dies to create her unique card. I kept coming back to it again and again and finally decided to CASE it. It’ was literally a “thinking outside the box” card.I chose to use Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Call Me Clover and Daffodil Delight for my cards. And, instead of just creating just one card, I created 4 using all the pieces I cut out! Here are my combinations (and thanks Amy for your great card inspiration!)
I had to add a pop of color (oh, you know me…lots of bright, bright colors – LOL) under the fronds. I die cut it with the largest Layering Squares scalloped framelit. On the Call Me Clover card, I changed the inlay to use Granny Apple Green so the green fronds stood out a little more. On 3 of the cards I used my new favorite, the Subtle textured embossing impressions folder.
Here’s what I used to make the cards.
What did you think of my luscious, bright tropical colors CASE cards? As you can tell, I’m still thinking beach, tropics and ocean breezes in this hot, hot Texas weather! Happy stamping this weekend! Maybe I’ll at least get to the pool up at my dad’s for a few minutes to cool off!

Oh, I love how you’ve placed a colored piece of card stock behind the die cut! And I love how you made four cards using all of the pieces. Thanks for the shout-out!
