Still working on alternatives from my October-2015 Paper Pumpkin kit! The kit featured 3 different card layouts, but this is the 4th card I’ve made using the kit. Adding a few supplies really enables you to stretch the kits even more. For this last card, I used the Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry color washed card front, but cut them in half. My example here is with the Calypso Coral half (and I will make a similar layout with Crushed Curry half). I used the Crumb Cake note cards as the base (they come with matching envelopes) and created a mat of several layers (Old Olive, Whisper White & Calypso Coral) to make the color wash piece really pop off the card. I stamped the flower on a scrap of Calypso Coral, then again on Old Olive. Yes, those “leaves” are really a flower cut in half and tucked under the flower! The greeting is stamped on Whisper White and cut into a banner. And you’re done. How easy was that for such a sweet thank you card. And just imagine finally having time to be “that person” who makes all the cute things and makes it look easy! Paper Pumpkin makes it all possible.
