I had a great weekend creating all kinds of things, but first I need to tell you about my funny (hm…) disaster. I was creating cards for my classes, my downline meeting, then onto Christmas cards for my upcoming Stamp A Stack when I decided to dig out my Dazzling Details to add to one of my new Christmas card designs. It has been a while since I’d used it and I was squeezing the bottle harder and harder, nothing. So I got out a straight pin to clear the tip of the bottle. Squeezed again, hm..still not working. Maybe I just need a little more pressure? Shake, shake, and big squeeze. Oops, a resounding pop and then “splat”. The tip shot out of the squeeze bottle, and 6 feet across my craft room and hit the cabinet door. It did create a huge glob of Dazzling Details glue, but not where I wanted it! Okay, let’s try that again. I scooped most of it back into the bottle, found the tip (oh thank goodness, none on the carpet, or anywhere else…WHEW!), cleaned the tip really good (there was more dried glue inside!), and I was back in business. I’ll show you that card in a couple of days, but meanwhile back to the original card I was going to post this morning. I just had to stop to tell someone about that funny incident with the Dazzling Details, I laughed for several minutes as I was trying to clean up the mess.
It was another weekend breaking open my more recent Paper Pumpkin kits. Yes, I keep saying I’m going to do them the week I get them (another on the way this week!), but somehow time flies by and I’m behind again. The July kit had these cute, cute cards!

I played around with the design and layout and came up with this twist (literally twisted the paper on the card) for my class this week. This was card template for one of the card challenges a while back and I really liked the look. And then I stamped the cup and “Get Well” on the envelope also so my recipient would get two “get well” wishes when they receive it.
If you’re a Paper Pumpkin subscriber you can get refills to make more of these here! If not sign up now for a pre-paid subscription or sign up for a month-to-month subscription (be sure to select me as your demo-thanks). Then you can buy this extra kit and others!

Thank goodness you didn’t get glitter glue all over everywhere … I’ll have to watch when I open up my bottles! I absolutely adored the July Paper Pumpkin kit, it’s one of my top 3 favorite kits ever. I can’t wait until this month’s kit comes … I think it’s Halloween treats and should be really fun 🙂
