Sweet Soirée flowers galore

Yesterday’s card (see it here) used the Sweet Soirée DSP, but one of the more graphic patterns. Today’s card uses the bold, large flower pattern with a Rich Razzleberry background. I based my overall design on the FMS328 challenge and a combination of several other cards I’ve seen using this paper. I started out with a Blushing Bride card base even though the DSP has Powder Pink in it. It seemed too light of a color for this bold pattern. This is my first version with no frame of color underneath the DSP.

I fussy cut the flowers out of the DSP and overlaid them on one of the Swirly Scribbles wreath, as least that’s what I call it. I decided it needed umph, so I used my Leaf punch to punch some Old Olive branches. The greeting comes from the Sale-a-bration Happy Wishes stamp set. I liked it, but decided I needed a frame of color underneath. So I made two more! One with Old Olive, the other with Marina Mist.

Inside, I used the Happy Birthday thinlit for a simple greeting. Here’s all three insides, first the plain one, then Old Olive, then Marina Mist. At least I now have 3 more birthday or celebration cards!
