Yes, again, I’m working on past Paper Pumpkin kits trying to catch up! The December kit, “Something for Everything” is a great kit. Too bad there aren’t any refills left since this was a very versatile kit.
Here’s the kit cards and what the kit included to make 12 cards; 4 of each of 3 card designs:
But I digress, this time I made a set of the cards as the kit instructed so that you’d see them. Then, as usual, I started playing with the pieces to see how many different cards I could make with the kit. Altogether I created 21 cards, only adding several sheets of Crushed Curry, Terracotta and Shaded Spruce cardstock as accents and a few Whisper White card bases.
Here’s closeups of the cards I created. The top middle one is made like the kit suggested (and I’ve already given that to a friend).
The top card on the right is the suggested layout for another of the kit’s cards.
And the top right card below is the third card made according to the kit’s instructions. Lots of variations with just a few additions of scraps of cardstock.
And I still have leftover gold pieces and flower pieces to make more cards, but I set this kit aside and moved onto the March kit next. See that tomorrow! So many kits, so many cards and so little time, or it seems as I look up at the clock each day to see that it’s already 4:30 pm. That’s my agreed upon time to break to go downstairs (my craft room is on the third floor) and make my husband quit working in his first floor office. Then we have happy hour to catch up with what each of us worked on that day, have dinner and watch the depressing news.
