Today’s Christmas card uses Night of Navy, Whisper White and Silver to make this wintery scene. I keep hoping for cooler temperatures – not freezing, remember I’m a Texas girl at heart, but 50-60’s would be nice. Even 70’s are sounding good right about now!
This card was created with the dotted Christmas tree stamp in Night of Navy, then in Silver. I quickly added clear embossing powder to heat emboss the silver dots. Cut the tree out with the Perfect Pines frame lit die and adhered it to a Night of Navy square. And yes, I did fussy cut the navy out leaving about 1/8″ all around. The saying was also Silver then embossed, and I cut around it. It’s on top of a silver scalloped circle popped up with dimensionals. The snowflake paper comes from the new Season of Cheer DSP. It looked a little plain so I added the band of Night of Navy with a small strip of the snowflake DSP. When I was finished I decided to add Dazzling Details to the center of each snowflake. And yes, this is where my Dazzling Details disaster occurred that I talked about last week. If you missed that post, see it here! All is well that ends well or so they say! I do love the look it created on the card and I’m sure glad my rug was spared!
