I meant to post this fun simple twist Valentine’s Day card I made for my husband on Valentine’s Day. But somehow the time got away from me as we celebrated the day. It is a hybrid card based on one Connie Stewart showcased several weeks ago. I’m trying to creatively use some of my retired kit pieces for my cards, so this one was made using a card from my Cottage Greetings card kit.
It’s a square card that I wanted to use in an unusual way. Here’s my husband’s simple twist Valentine’s Day card. I turned the card inside-out so the silver arched design is on the inside.

All the other pieces for this card come from the Bee Mine suite collection in our January – April mini catalog. I love this suite of fun products and keep coming up with more ways to use it for my cards. This is a view of the card laying flat.

But the best part of this card is when you open it up. The front piece twists around and becomes part of the inside! Love it.

My husband loved his card and thought the way it opened was amazing. Thanks dear!
Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
