Pick 6 One Sheet Wonder – Trio cards

July 7, 2021 Leave a Comment

I made today’s cards are made with Design 2: Trio of Rectangles from Shannon’s “Pick 6 Wonder” template. See my cards using Design 1 here with the Boho Indigo designer series paper.

Although Design 2 – Trio of Rectangles makes 4 cards, I only created three cards. Since I cut one sheet incorrectly (see yesterday’s post), I improvised in making these three cards.

My first card uses a Very Vanilla card base, the DSP rectangles, and a Very Vanilla Stitched Rectangles tag with the stamped greeting from Lovely You. The middle rectangle is one of my “booboo” cuts, but it works! Of course, I had to add a little bling with Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

My second card also uses a Very Vanilla card base flipped vertical, the DSP rectangles, a Night of Navy velvet ribbon piece, and a Stitched Shapes oval for the greeting from Lovely You. Another of those booboo cuts in this card! Do you know which one?

My last card is a hybrid that uses a Night of Navy card base. When I was making a Design 4 card I accidentally grabbed one of the Design 3 rectangles and cut the heart out. So I used that heart in this card and added a Very Vanilla heart with another of the Lovely You greetings. I also popped the center rectangle up with dimensionals and added a Night Of Navy velvet ribbon bow.

I love this Pick 6 card template to make a lot of easy cards. Have you had a chance to try out this template? Let me know in the comments which DSP you selected! I have more cards to share tomorrow using the Design 4 pieces. Stop by tomorrow to see them!

Here’s the 6″ x 6″ template for you to follow along this week to make your own cards. Just pick 6 coordinating sheets of your favorite DSP to get started!

Need more DSP? What? I thought we were trying to use up our stash! But who can resist a 15% sale on nine of the current Designer Series Papers in our annual 2021-22 catalog? The sale is from July 1 – August 2! Take a look at all the possibilities for your cards with this design.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
