My husband and I walk every morning and we cross paths with a neighbor running with his two dogs. We always greet each other and the dogs, it’s been the highlight of day during our social isolation. We’ve missed seeing them recently and this week we learned why. One of them died from cancer over the holidays. I wanted to send the family (and their other dog) a condolence card. As I was planning the card, the FMS468 popped up in my email. It was a perfect template for the card.
Here’s my card I sent for the loss of their dog. I used the Playful Pets DSP and put the greeting between the dogs rather than at the bottom as suggested by the sketch. I also added a piece of the DSP to the envelope.
I used the greetings from Happy Tails, a retired stamp set that I will always keep because of the sentiments. It’s always sad to loose one of our furry family members. I hope our neighbors are comforted by my card and our thoughts.
Here’s what I used to make this card.
