Yesterday I forgot to share my first post of my 4″ x 6″ cards I made with the Night Before Christmas Memories and More cards (so see them here). Today’s cards are made using the 3″ x 4″ cards from the pack and a set of the Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla notecards and envelopes.
It was fun putting these cards together with only a few Stampin’ Up! products! Here are the cards I created.
This first one uses the 3″ x 4″ “Happy Everything” card and the edge of “Warmest Wishes” card. I cut the edges using the Rectangle Stitched dies (see the description below on my last card).
The next card uses both side of the North Pole express card. I die cut out the center medallion on the plain side with the Stitched Shapes dies, but you can also use one of your circle punches. Then I flipped the outside frame over to use it as the base piece. I decided to add a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock embossed with the Subtle folder on my notecard. I adhered the frame down on top and popped the North Pole Express circle in the middle. I added the Santa, please stop here sticker from the sticker sheet.
My “We Believe in Santa” card uses another piece of the Poppy Parade cardstock adhered to the front of the notecard, then added the We Believe in Santa card. I added some of the stars from the sticker sheet and two of the Toile Tiding glitter enamel dots. Simeple and fast.
The last one uses the 3″ x 4″ “Warmest Wishes” card and the back of the “We Believe” in Santa card as a frame. I die cut the center out using my Rectangle Stitched dies. I cut off one end of the front green striped section and another end, using the backside (stars) for the second strip. A little more work than the others, but I was pleased with this look.
All in all, you have enough cards and combinations to make 20 notecard size (3-1/2″ x 5″) Christmas cards with matching envelopes. You can do it without the dies, but they add some dimensions to the cards. What deal!
