More Rosy ideas, this time for gifts

May 22, 2019 Leave a Comment

This month’s Everything is Rosy special kit inspires all kinds of possibilities for easy paper crafting. It’s been a lot fun creating ideas to make with the kit. Today, I’m sharing alternative ideas…gift boxes and a small gift tag to go with them.

This box uses one of the gorgeous papers tied up with the beautiful navy ribbon. A quick “thank you” added to the tag and you are ready to go. It will hold some candy, or a small gift or even a gift card. What a beautiful way to say thank you to someone special!

This example uses one of Stampin’ Up!’s mini pizza boxes that are food safe. You can add a few cookies, or a special brownie or treat to thank someone, or even as a birthday treat (just stamp the birthday greeting on the tag). And doesn’t that Melon Mambo ribbon add so much to your package?

Need a cute tag for a gift or package? This one is so easy to make using the DSP in your kit! And the simple envelope adds a great touch to your gift.

Take one of the 6″x6″ pieces of paper and score on side at 1-3/4″ and 4-1/2″. Rotate the paper one turn, then score at 1″ and 5-1/2″. Fold along the scores lines – I’ve done this on white cardstock so you can see – your paper will look like this:

You will cutaway the areas I’ve scribbled on and it will look like this:

Fold the sides over and glue it. Then fold up the bottom piece and glue it like this for a finished envelope:

Cut a coordinating piece of your choice. You can make it just a tag-like insert (4-1/2″ tall and 2-5/8″ wide) or if you want the card to open, cut it 4’1/2″ x 5-1/4″ and score in half along the long side. Add a tag on the outside and adhere a white piece of cardstock (4-1/4″ x 2-1/2″) on the back of the one-sided tag, or inside on the card. This allows you to add a quick and heartfelt note for your recipient.

Or you can order these Stampin’ Up! narrow note cards & envelopes and add decorative pieces from the Everything is Rosy DSP for embellishments!

Now, time to choose a tag for the outside of your envelope….so many choices! You get 2 of each of these beautiful Rose Gold foil tags to choose from for all your projects!

The possibilities just keep coming! Don’t forget, this kit is only available until May 31…so get it now! What will you create with your kit? Need help ordering? Email me at JB Stamper!

Thanks for stopping by today, and happy creating all kinds of fun things with this new kit!
