I couldn’t resist using this By the Shore DSP again (see my earlier card here), this time for my SGGW weekend challenge card from last weekend. I loved the paper when it came out but somehow let it set on my craft table until now. Sad…must mean I have way too much crafting supplies..haha..can you really have too much? Ask my dear hubby and he’ll say YES! But ask any paper crafter, and you know the answer will be a resounding NEVER! Here’s my card for Connie Stewart’s SGGW weekend challenge.
The By the Shore DSP made the card really easy. I cut the three pieces 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ and glued them directly to the Dapper Denim card base. Then I added a 1/2″ strip of the seashells along the bottom to ground the tags. I tied on a piece of the Brown Sugar thick twine, and added my tag. I did fussy cut the fish out of the paper, but since the rest of the card came together so quickly, it didn’t add that much time. I added the enamel shaped dots for “fish bubbles”, although they don’t exactly look like that, I guess because of the color?
Here’s what I used to make this card:
