Where did last week go? It can’t be Tuesday and it definitely can’t be fall already!!??!! I hope our Texas temperatures catch on quickly that they are supposed to be dropping. In the 90’s just isn’t conducive to feeling the “fall” weather! I thought I’d help the weatherman along and create some Christmas cards in hopes the temperatures would drop soon!
I love the new Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Pines stamp set and the matching Perfect Pines framelit dies bundle! I created a number of cards and gift tags using only this bundle to show its versatility. I saw another card using the “Wonderland” tree stamp set in our Holiday catalog. This is the first of several cards I made last week. I don’t have that set and decided I could create an even prettier tree scene using my Peaceful Pines stamp. I randomly stamped the tree in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive to create the forest. Then I added a strip from the Merry Moments DSP pack. The embellishments was one of the wooden snowflakes from the Snowflake Elements and I topped it with a Winter Wonderland snowflake. With the gold cording trim bunched behind the snowflakes, it was really easy to put together.
This will be one of my Christmas cards for this year’s “Stamp A Stack” classes. It looks complicated, but it’s really easy to put together. And the first of my Christmas cards was created! Still didn’t help the outside temperature, but it feels more like the holidays are just around the corner while I was creating this card.

This is the cutest card I have seen using this stamp set! Way to go.
Thanks Renee! I was quite pleased and liked it better than the example I saw in the catalog!
Your card is fabulous Janice! I love the simplicity of it, and the colors are spot on. Great job!! Can’t wait to see what else you come up with 🙂
Thanks Deepa, just wish you were still here to join us in classes. And your creations are just as gorgeous, if not more so!
You are so sweet 🙂 I miss crafting with you all too! It was so much fun to have designated craft and chat time – I haven’t had time to craft for weeks now 🙁 Perhaps I’ll be able to make something fun soon – a large order of holiday goodies is arriving tomorrow!
