Finally…doing the happy dance! I got a chance this past weekend to work on a few ideas that I’ve had floating in my head after looking at other’s treat holders that I’ve pinned on Pinterest. I need Valentine’s Day candy holders and cards for my upcoming classes, and I was so glad that it all came together this weekend. I love it when that happens, don’t you??!!
So here’s the first three candy holders that I created. They were so quick and simple, I’ll be able to make a lot of them for friends in the coming weeks. I’m waiting on my new Occasions catalog order, remember, I did say I was having a hard time putting it in? I finally did and should have it this week – YAY! Meanwhile when the crafting Mojo bug hits, you have to go with what you have! I used some retired papers and ribbons with a few current stamps sets and other ribbons. Now, I just need the chocolate. But that will have to wait until closer to my classes…dark chocolate just sitting here…hmmm..not going to last long! Just saying, I’m saving myself from myself! Today, I’m working on more candy holders and some card ideas also. Check back later to see my creations.
And tomorrow I’ll share that baby gift frame that I finally finished, 3 months after my friend Lekki’s sweetie was born. Here’s the sample I used as a guideline, isn’t it just too cute?! When I showed the example to her, she was so excited. I can’t share my final version until she sees it – don’t want to spoil her surprise, even though she saw the example!
