I love the new Stampin’ Up! cling stamps! No more inking up a stamp and having to it fall off my block onto my project creating a big mess. But getting the greeting sticker lined on the foam stamp just wasn’t working for me. I found a tip (forgot where, but several demos have shared this) on how to easily mount the greeting stickers. I can now get an entire stamp set lined up correctly and mounted onto the stickers in just a couple of minutes. I made a video for you to see how easy it is to do this.
Here are a few pictures of how I did this. First put sticker on block and then pull off backing. This is what it should look like on your block.
Then carefully and slowly lower greeting matching up the edges with the back of the rubber stamp (white foam side). When you have the sticker lined up with the stamp, slowly press the block and greeting down onto the white foam.
This is what your stamp and sticker will look like when you are finished – just like you’d have it when you’re ready to stamp a greeting.
This is what the back of your stamp will look like.
Carefully pull the entire stamp off the block and this is what it will look like, perfectly lined up with none of the clear sticker hanging off the edges.
I hope this makes sense to you. Try it, you’ll like it. Let me know how this works for you.
Hugs to all of you and happy stamping!
