I hope you enjoy your Valentines Day celebration today doing something fun with family or friends. If you don’t have anyone close by, reach out and consider giving a few hours of your time to a homeless shelter, food bank or animal shelter. You will be rewarded with love and graditude many times over for your efforts. It will warm your heart and those of the ones you serve.
My husband is cooking us filet mignon tonight along with homegrown broccoli (yes, me the non-gardener got broccoli to grow!) and Dutch potatoes…yum! BTW-if you’ve followed me for a while, you may know I’m a retired dietitian by training, but my husband is our cook/chef! But I do like baking and I’m going to make some kind of chocolate dessert…still looking at options – LOL!
Here’s some of the Valentines I created for today.
Enjoy today, and the upcoming weekend. We get to see our daughter and her family this weekend, including our star soccer goalie granddaughter! Our grandson’s at college so he’ll miss out on the visit. We are heading to the Stonehenge exhibit at our museum.
