Happy belated Sisters Day!

No cards to post today, but I’ll have some more quick and easy, but absolutely gorgeous cards later this week!

I just got a list this weekend of fun dates to celebrate during August. Did you know that August 1 was Sisters Day? I always miss “sibling day” but since I only have sisters, I can now celebrate Sisters day. Happy belated Sisters Day to my four sisters! Here’s a picture of all of us together. From left to right, youngest to oldest. Yes, I’m the oldest, and bossiest. Or so all my sisters say. The two on the left are twins. An old picture because it’s hard to get us all in the same place at the same time!

Today, August 2 is “National Ice Cream Sandwich” day – who knew. When I told my husband, he said we’d have to celebrate tonight, especially since we have ice cream sandwich bars in our freezer! Great excuse to eat one of them!

And the list goes on…lots of fun food celebration days coming up! Not so good if you’re trying to watch your weight. But hey, it’s the last month of the summer, bathing suit season almost over, and time to wrap up more. So go for it!
