Granddaughter’s card creation

August 13, 2015 4 Comments

My 11 year old granddaughter is here with us for the week attending Senior Space Commander Camp before she heads back to school next Monday. She wanted to make a card for her brother who starts high school the following week. She said I could share her creation that she made last night. So here it is.

She used the new Mint Macaroon In-Color for her base, Blackberry Bliss for the 2nd layer and stamped the Congrat-you-lations stamp from “Bravo” stamp set in Calypso Coral. And then added some retired washi tape to hold the greeting to the front of the card. She punched a Blackberry Bliss star for the middle and Gold stars down the side. What do you think? I was impressed with her idea and creation. Now, we’re wondering what her 14 year old brother will think.

Thanks Deepa! I tried earlier in the week to get her to make a card and she just wanted to play her video games. But that night, she decided she wanted to make her brother a card. It was fun working with her to get what she wanted to make it!
