And today’s card does just that. Remember earlier in the week I cut apart the two envelopes from the March-2018 “May Good Things Grow” Paper Pumpkin kit and told you to save them? Well here’s the card made from a leftover piece.
The card front is one of the card designs in the kit and the Fresh Fig frame is from the kit’s card, cut in half. The scalloped half circle is the flap of the kit’s envelope, yes the inside flap had this beautiful dotted Fresh Fig design! I added a Pearlized Doily on top of that. Using the kit’s stamp, I stamped the flower on Flirty Flamingo using the Early Espresso ink spot. I used my Flirty Flamingo marker to add shading to the flower for depth and fussy cut it out. I layered it on top of another of the leaves in the kit. The greeting was stamped onto one of the kit’s tag with Fresh Fig ink, then I tied the tag on with the thread from the kit.
