It’s that time of year for me – time to stock up on my boxes and bags for upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, babies and other celebrations! This past week I worked on creating a variety of gift box and bag ideas. I’ll also use them for my upcoming class on “Gift Boxes & Bags Ideas.”
The Stampin’ Up! Kraft boxes were discontinued, but I stocked up on them long ago so I’d have them available when I needed gift packaging ideas.
First up, the Decorative Window 4×4 Kraft box (so sad it’s gone, it was great for goodies, cookies, cupcakes or other deliciously sweet treats!).
I love B&W with pops of color! Here I used the new Flirty Flamingo for the flower with accents of Delightful Dijon and Basic Black. The B&W DSP papers are retired, but there are some great new ones you can use. I wrapped the sides with a strip (and a half) with one pattern, and the top with another. I used the new Layering Circles dies to cup out the center of my top and the flower (from the Floral Frame dies). I punch various size flower centers using a variety of Stampin’ Up! punches to get the effects I wanted. I can’t wait to find the perfect occasion to use this gift box!
Here’s the supplies I used:
