As the greeting on today’s cards says “Hope your day is Fantabulistic! Fabulous and Fantastic all in one!” It is one of the great stamps in the In Your Words host stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog available through the end of this month. I thought this greeting deserved a fun-fold card to set it off.
The card starts with a Night of Navy card base cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ on the long side. A piece of Mossy Meadow (2-3/8″ x 5-3/8″) and another of the Beauty of the Earth DSP prints on the outside. Inside is a 2-3/4″ x 5-3/8″ piece of Basic White and another DSP print cut 1-1/2″ x 5-3/8″. The Night of Navy tag closure is cut 4″ x 1-5/8″.
I die cut the stitched scallop edge on the front of the card with the Basic Borders die. I put my die about 1-1/2″ in, but when I closed the card, the white inside showed. So I added the other side of the die cut to the white area inside. Hence the stitched double scallops, inside and outside. Remember, there are no mistakes in card making, just opportunities to be creative! If you just want just the one edge on the outside, place your die only about 1″ from the card edge. Here’s what the card looks like when it’s open.
Here’s a look at it partially open and the tag sitting on the inside so you can see the details.

Don’t forget that Sale-a-Bration ends September 30. There are so many fun products you can earn for free with each $50 or $100 purchase.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
