I love my two fall stamp sets, Gather Together and Beautiful Autumn, along with the matching dies and Gilded Autumn DSP. I’m having so much fun with them, I haven’t stopped to order my Christmas and holiday stuff…will do soon! This week’s FMS454 sketch was an easy one for me. The question for me was do I create a simple card with only a few layers or one with more layers like I usually do.
Here are my two cards, which one do you like the best? I’m having a hard time picking my favorite of these two. Each one seems to really stand out equally well.
This one is a Very Vanilla card base with a Soft Suede frame under the Very Vanilla focal image. I was going to stamp the leaves onto the card, but decided to use the Gathered Leaves dies instead for more texture. The tag has Soft Suede underneath and is stamped in Cajun Craze ink. The entire frame is popped up with dimensional, you can see it better in person.
My second card uses Soft Suede as the card base with a piece of Very Vanilla on top. The inside frame is a duplicate of my first card. Which one do you like the best, multiple layers or the single layer? I actually prefer the first card with only one layer – surprising for me, isn’t it!
Here’s the supplies I used to make this card:
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend stamping. We are supposed to have a glorious weekend after all the rain and wind we had from Tropical Storm Beta. I may have to leave my craft room and head outdoors for some fresh, Texas fall weather!
