As I was explaining last week (see post here), I’m trying to finish projects “from by-gone days!” I took leftover card kit pieces from several fall card kits I had to create these cards using the Freshly Made Sketch templates as inspiration. As I’ve said many times, if you need inspiration, go see FMS or any of the other card template challenge sights for inspiration! I know, it’s way past fall, but I’m now I’m ahead for fall-2021! I needed to get these off my crafting table before I get too deep into the new Mini catalog products.
Here are the original cards I made quite a while ago (see post here).
This card used the FMS451 as my inspiration and the message came from Stampin’ Up! digital “Share Sunshine” greetings from last spring. The purchase price of the digital files went to WHO and United Way Worldwide COVID relief efforts. I’ve used these greetings over and over for cards – well worth the $12! This card was for my niece who has the same birthday as her son and her mom! Three generations all with the birthday (different years, of course-LOL)!
And this is the card I made (using FMS401) for her mom, my sister for her birthday.
This card used the FMS441 template and the Stitched Leaves dies on the leaves and background.
Using FMS431, I created this version. I haven’t added a greeting yet, I’m just waiting for the perfect person and occasion to send it!
I used snippets of DSP, burlap ribbon and the FMS458 template for this card. The greeting, leaf and pumpki come from Banner Year stamp set.
I love the way this simple card turned out using the FMS406 template.
You can never have enough Thank You cards and the FMS403 template made this one easy to create.
This last card was a redo of earlier card I made (see here), but I wanted a little more “umph” to highlight the greeting. I used the Tailored Tag punch in Early Espresso for the tag behind the greeting.
WOW….I am really getting into redoing and recreating ideas from old cards and retired Stampin’ Up! products! Now I feel I can reward myself with the Spring new products to create some cards! What do you have in your crafting stash that you could use to create cards? Let me know!!
Hugs to all of you and happy stamping!
