Back to traditional Christmas colors for my card today. I love the way the negative stamped greetings look on a card. And you don’t have to stamp it perfect for it to look fabulous, so that’s an added bonus. Especially when you are doing a stack of them all at once. The greetings that are included in the new Every Good Wish stamp set are perfect for this card. Did you see my card that used the “peace, love and joy” from this set? See it here.
I chose a simple layout letting the greeting, the stitched felt star and the DSP make it a WOW card (for me).
The card base is Whisper White with a strip of the Christmas trees DSP. I added the strip of Gold Glimmer paper for sparkle. I die cut the squares with the Layering Squares framelits and added one of the adorable stitched felt stars from the Christmas Quilt suite of Stampin’ Up! products. Of course, I had to also add the gold sequin trim to go with the glimmer paper. This is #3 for my traditional cards for my upcoming annual Stamp a Stack Christmas card event. Why don’t you join me for one of these events?
Here’s what I used to make this card:
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend stamping! Lots of holidays fast approaching – Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and all the other December holidays!
Don’t forget – only 4 more days for the DSP sale!
