Some of us love Halloween with all the cutes kids in their costumes, and lots of candy. I always enjoy making treat holders to give out on Halloween so of course I loved my September Paper Pumpkin kit, see yesterday’s post. But for those of you who don’t celebrate nor make Halloween cards and treat containers, stay with me for a minute and keep reading!
The Toil and Trouble DSP has two sides….the “Halloween” images one side, but the other side is more graphic with stars, dots, cats, frogs, stripes and pumpkins. All designs that you can use on your cute non-Halloween projects! It’s a Win-Win since all of Stampin’ Up!’s DSP are like this.
Need some inspiration? Here are just a few samples of treat containers you can make with this Toil & Trouble suite.
Here’s the coordinating Cauldron Bubble bundle. The framelits match the DSP designs so you can cut them out to add to your cards and containers. No fussy cutting – YAY!!
Another fun option for Halloween is the Spooky Sweets bundle with it’s bats, goblins and sayings. But look closer – the moon, stars and “smudge”…can be used with baby and other cards.
Still not liking the “spooky Halloween theme”? That’s okay. Take a look at the Takeout Treats bundle. It covers many treat giving occasions and holidays, including Christmas, Valentines Day, Thank You and a general “just for you!” WOW…talk about a must have bundle for year round! I’m waiting for my order so I can create some fun containers. I’ll share them later!
Here’s just two cute ideas using this bundle.
Well are you rethinking the Halloween theme idea? Try the Toil & Trouble DSP with the Takeout Treats bundle, I think you’ll have a blast designing some cute, Non-Halloween containers!
Thanks for stopping by today! Let me know whether you like the Halloween theme or not! Happy stamping!
