I had so much fun with my 3-day weekend creating Valentine cards and candy holders for my upcoming Love is in the Air” classes. I finished all the laundry Thursday night so I could just play in my craft room all weekend! At one point on Saturday afternoon my husband reminded me it was time to take both kitties to the vet for check-ups. They both have asthma, yes apparently cats can get asthma just like humans and need inhalers??!! When I thanked him for keeping track of the time because I totally forgot and didn’t realize it was so late, he asked “how can you not know what time it is??” Well, I explained, when I’m in my craft room, I get lost a in zone and totally loose track of time and whatever else might be happening. He just shook his head and didn’t understand. But I’m sure of a lot of you out there know what I mean!
If you remember from an earlier post I got my box of Occasions and SAB items on Thursday, so I dug in with excitement. I decided the my project would be to design at least one card using the Bloomin’ Hearts framelit dies. I wanted an easy card for the class so created a 5-1/4″ square card with layers to highlight the delicate, lacy heart. The heart punches out of the framelit so easily with the new die brush, love it. I also saved the left over Real Red square with the heart relief cutout and made another card – come back tomorrow to see that one! Hope you enjoy my creation!
