I finally stopped to catch up on my past Paper Pumpkin kits the past two weeks. They are so much fun to use, but somehow they always seem to stack up on me before I get time to make them. With our travels I haven’t gotten much time to craft. I love traveling with my sweetie, but I sure miss my craft room (and my two kitties who love to sit on my craft table and watch me!). I started with the October, 2015 – “Blissful Bouquet” kit. Here’s the Stampin’ Up! video show casing the kit and the cards it made. [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT797HWZuac&w=560&h=315]
So I set out to see what else I could create using the pieces in the kit. I love looking at other’s ideas and inspirations from Pinterest posts, then combining various ideas to make my own alternative card. This is the first alternative card I created. See the supply list for what I used. The print was circle was included in the kit, but before I attached it, I used my new Layered Circle dies to cut out the center. I used the same dies to cut out a little bit bigger Daffodil Delight scalloped circle and layered the flower print on top. Wondering what I did with the piece I cut out? Check back later in the week to see the other card I created.
And if you’re my current Paper Pumpkin customer, you can order the kit refills while they are in stock. But if you’re not a subscriber yet, purchase a Paper Pumpkin subscription now, and then you can stop over and get the refill on my shop!
QUOTE FOR THE DAY:
Don’t count the days, make the days count!
So my philosophy is to travel with my sweetie and somehow find time to craft more!
