Sometimes you just have to make funny cards for those special people, you know the one. I chose the Birthday Wit stamp set and the Picture Perfect birthday DSP to go along with it. So sit back and follow along this week as I show you how to use this stamp set and DSP to make some really cheery and funny birthday celebration cards.
Today’s card used the FMS330 template from last week.
The Picture Perfect DSP candles say it all for this momentous birthday card. And the saying must be true, right?!
This was a quick one to make. I started with a Pool Party card base that I dry embossed with the new Scattered Sequins folder, perfect for birthdays! Rather than add a Bermuda Bay band over the candles, I cut the candles apart to show the Bermuda Bay that I used to frame the paper. This saves paper and the extra weight to mail my card. I stamped the greeting on Whisper White with Bermuda Bay ink and fussy cut out the saying. I added the “You’re Welcome” on the outside for emphasis stamped in Berry Burst ink.
