I’ve shared multiple fall cards this week using the Love of Leaves and Gilded Autumn bundles in the new Stampin’ Up! mini (holiday) catalog. Today’s cards are designed for all levels of crafters. So what kind of paper crafter are you?
Are you a Beginner and Casual Crafter? (or need a card in a hurry?)
The card on the left is for you. Simple, easy and quick! Cut a 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Very Vanilla cardstock, score at 4-1/4″ and fold in half. Stamp a leaf in Cajun Craze ink on the lower left front of a Very Vanilla card base. Run your opened card through your die cutting machine with the large stitched leaf inside to add detailed stitching. Cut and adhere a piece of striped Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper to the left edge of the card. Stamp a sentiment in Early Espresso ink on Mint Macaron Cardstock, and punch it out using the Label Me Fancy Punch. Adhere the label, wrap ribbon around the card, and tie a bow! Looks fabulous!
Are you an Avid Crafter?
You love adding details to your cards. Start with the same card base as the beginner crafter above. Before folding your card in half, die cut stitched lines into the Very Vanilla Cardstock a little bit away from the folded edge. Add a piece of the striped Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper to the left edge of the card. Tie a piece of Metallic Ribbon from the Gilded Autumn suite onto your card. Next, stamp the leaves in Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, and Mint Macaron ink on a separate piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. Cut them out using both the outline and detailed Stitched Leaves Dies. Stamp your greeting using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and heat it until it is glossy. Arrange all the pieces onto your card. Finish with either the Wonderful Gems or Gold Glimmer dots!
Are you an over-the-top Avid Crafter?
You want to do it all to up the WOW factor on your cards! Same card base, but you’ll want to emboss the Very Vanilla Cardstock with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Add pieces of torn gold foil accents to the front. Before tying your ribbon around the card, add an Acorn Trinket. Replace Crumb Cake ink with Early Espresso ink when stamping the little leaf. Die cut one leaf from the gold gilded leaf paper. Punch a label from a Gold Foil Sheet, emboss with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to give it an interesting texture. Stamp your greeting and cut it apart to arrange and adhere it on top of your leaves! There you have it….over-the-top glamour card!
Here’s the supplies you need to make these cards.
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy stamping and let me know what kind of crafter you are.
