Several months back was “Baby week” since my friend was expecting and I needed a baby gift for her. And I thought, what better gift for my friend, downline and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Lekki than to use the “Something for Baby” stamp set and Baby’s First framelits to create the birth announcement frame highlighted in the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog on page 38. I fell in love with it. I showed it to Lekki to see if she liked the idea and to get what colors the baby’s room would be – she chose Smoky Slate, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, and So Saffron. I did mention she’s a demo, right? So of course she chose Stampin’ Up! colors – LOL!
Here’s my final gift, minus her daughter’s picture. I also blurred her name since I didn’t want to share that since it’s not my baby. I was pleased with my pearls, bakers twine and ruffled ribbon embellishments and can’t wait to see the picture Lekki will add to it! Of course my name won’t be there when I give it to her!

Happy New Year Janice 🙂 That frame is absolutely adorable – I bet Lekki loved it! That project was one of the first that caught my eye in the catalog, and I think yours turned out even better. I miss pistachio pudding, I sure hope it comes back sometime 🙂
