All is Bright..for Christmas

October 15, 2018 Leave a Comment

That’s the name of one of the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday suites.

My card today uses the FMS357 sketch from last week, but I didn’t get it made in time to submit it. Still it’s a wonderfully simple template for a quick holiday card that you can make tons in very little time! Only a few steps and you’re finished.

The “old-fashioned” lightbulbs side from the All is Bright DSP was perfect for my contemporary card. On the other side of the bulbs is this green abstract which is on the left side of my card.

I added a strip of Whisper White and stamped the greeting “Merry & Bright” with the Merry Christmas to All stamp set. A great set to have with all it’s word pieces and coordinating dies of “Merry” “Christmas” or “Happy” “Holidays” (see my cards next week using these dies) to help you create various greetings.

I don’t have a picture of the inside, but I used the bulb stamps from the coordinating Making Christmas Bright stamp set to repeat the “Merry and Bright” inside on the bulbs. You could either stamp them directly on your card base. Or stamp on a separate scrap of paper, punch them out and add to the inside.

Here’s what I used to make this card:
