A little birdie told me…

August 21, 2018 Leave a Comment

This was the original card layout I had in mind last week hoping that I could adapt it to the upcoming FMS350 sketch. I posted my final FMS350 here, but today I wanted to share the original card I designed. I used the earlier FMS347 sketch (I didn’t get to post a card for that one – too many other things to be done), but I really like the way the Animal Expedition DSP fit into that sketch.

Since I didn’t have the “a little birdie told me” stamp, I had to get creative. I tried several versions. This is with a bigger, bolder hand-written “told me” and punched with the Classic Label punch.

This is using my Basic Black Stampin’ Up! marker in littler print.

Which one do you like the best? How would you have created the saying?

Here’s what I used to make the card:

Still haven’t gotten to my latest Paper Pumpkin kit…time slipped away today. One of my cousins lost her battle with cancer this morning so I’ve been talking, texting, and emailing different family members to make sure they all had heard the sad news. So tomorrow’s card will be a sympathy card for her family. Thanks for stopping by today.
