I worked on this card all last weekend using the SGGW 8-12-16 weekend challenge template. I fiddled, I futzed, I cut multiple ideas, and I tossed a number of attempts. I had this vision, but none of them came together the way I wanted. One problem was my new Holiday DSP papers hadn’t been delivered yet, so I was trying different combinations of several retired Holiday DSP. Finally, last night…sigh…a card that worked for me!
I was trying to use the new Emerald Envy in-color with the Cherry Cobbler, but it just seemed to harsh for me. So I went with just the Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and some retired products. And my first Christmas card is done! A little early, but wanted to try this template for a holiday card.
