Pick 6 One Sheet Wonder – Design 3

July 8, 2021 Leave a Comment

Today I’m sharing the three cards I made using the “Pick 6 Wonder” Design 3. I’ve got a growing stash of cards! See my previous cards using this Pick 6 template here and here. I got a little more creative today making these three cards using Design 3.

My first card uses a Night of Navy card base, the Design 3 pieces, and a few pieces of Very Vanilla for detail. I added two squares behind each DSP rectangle, slightly offset rather than creating a full-frame look. The greeting is from the new, incredible Artiscally Inked stamp set, a part of the Expression in Ink suite! I added another knotted piece of the Night of Navy velvet ribbon.

This card also uses a Night of Navy card base. I tilted the two DSP rectangles, and rather than using the skinny DSP band, I cut 3 layering Stitched Rectangles dies in alternating colors. The Happy Birthday is from the In Bloom greeting masked so that I’d only ink the top part of the greeting. With a piece of Night of Navy velvet ribbon under the greeting tag popped up using dimensionals for added dimension. I think the angled rectangles add a fun twist.

My last one is another hybrid. I mentioned earlier this week that when I was making a Design 4 card I accidentally grabbed one of these Design 3 rectangles and cut a heart out. OOPS! But as they say, there are no mistakes, just opportunities to be creative! So I popped up the inner heart up with dimensionals on this card. I added a Night Of Navy velvet ribbon strip instead of the original banner piece. The greeting, from the In Bloom stamp set, is stamped on a Very Vanilla Stitched Rectangles tag.

I loosely followed the direction for these 3 cards, but I love the way they look! Have you made any cards yet with this template? Let me know which DSP you picked and share your cards! I have another set of cards to share tomorrow using the design 4 rectangles. Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow to see them!

In case you missed it the first two days, here’s the Pick 6 template I’m using to make my cards.

I don’t think I’ll ever run out of DSP, but who can resist a 15% sale on nine of the current Designer Series Papers in our annual 2021-22 catalog? I didn’t – LOL!! The sale is from July 1 – August 2! Check it out.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
