Two wreaths, two cards, endless holiday cheer
The wreath alone brings a joyful Christmas feel, but a little creativity makes it shine even brighter. I tinted each wreath using Stampin’ Up! watercolor pencils, giving them a soft, hand-shaded look. They pair beautifully with my coordinating card bases. It’s a quick and easy way to add depth, warmth, and a touch of handmade charm.
Card 1: Classic & Cozy
After coloring the first wreath with Old Olive, I added it to a Very Vanilla layer, dry-embossed with the Gathering Leaves folder. This was layered over Cherry Cobbler. A Garden Green card base, Cherry Cobbler tag, and a sentiment tag from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack finish the look.
The result? A simple yet elegant holiday card that captures the joyful spirit of the season.
Card 2: Bright & Festive
For the second wreath, I used the same pencil technique but also added Garden Green. I then adhered it to a Real Red layer embossed with the new Traditional Wreath 3D folder. Attached to an Old Olive card base and sprinkled with a few Basic Jewels, it comes together in minutes. Another beautifully simple card packed with festive charm.
