Today’s three cards were actually the first 3 I made using the Dandy Garden suite during Stampin’ Up!s virtual OnStage at home in November. We were able to purchase this was the stamp set to participate in a “Mystery Stamp.” Have you ever heard of or participated in a Mystery Stamp? I’ve just recently started participating in several of these. You are given a list of card pieces, sizes to cut and supplies you need, then during the virtual event you are given steps, one at a time, to make the card. Of course, you have no idea what the leader’s card looks like until the end. It’s always fun to see what others’ cards looks compared to yours. Each are very unique, and really sparks your creativity interpreting the list of supplies and directions! I’m planning on adding a Mystery Stamp on my JB Stamper Facebook page, so watch for the announcement!
Here are my cards from the Mystery Stamp. Oops, on the first one my stamping isn’t exactly straight. But at least you know I made it, not a commerical card! These cards use the Ladybug trinkets and the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.
The third card used 2 of the 3″ x4″ cards. On the Calypso Coral on, I punched out the greeting then trimmed it into a rectangular tag to add to the top card. I cut off 1/2″ off the top of the second card so that it would have a border. I added the greeting, punched a few of the smaller dragonflies out from DSP. I added a 1-1/4″ banner of the Misty Moonlight DSP, all on top of one of the Memories & More card bases.
Let me know in the comments which is your favorite card and whether you’d like to participate in my Mystery Stamp event.
Here’s what I used to make these cards.
Hugs to all of you and happy stamping!
