Holiday card for FMS256 challenge

I got a chance this past weekend to create a card for this past week’s FMS256 template challenge (due today, nothing like posting at the last minute!). It’s always fun (and sometimes a challenge) to use templates to create my cards. They give me a starting point to begin my creations.

This week’s template was a very simple one. I used my new Candy Cane Lane DSP for the banner. I added a Crumb Cake oval with the saying from the Suite Seasons stamp set embossed with the new Real Red Glitter embossing powder. I’m loving how this works on all my cards and tags (you’ll be seeing more of this on my upcoming projects!) I used the Layering Ovals to die cut the saying out. I wrapped several strands of the new Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy metallic threads around the top of the tag for an added accent.
