You’re the Best Friendly Wishes

Another challenge template for my “You’re the Best” card to thank someone for what they do. Hopping back another week, I looked up Connie Stewart’s SGGWW 7-22-16 challenge template. Using templates makes card design so much easier, all you have to do is pick your favorite papers and colors combinations. I love B&W with a pop of Melon Mambo and this template was perfect for this card.

The B&W polka dots are from one of the retired Stampin’ Up! B&W DSP…but the current Neutrals DSP paper stack also has B&W polka dots. I played with my new Flourish thinlet dies and matching Flourishing Phrases stamp set (comes in a bundle also!). But in the end I chose Friendly Wishes for my greeting because I wanted a big, bold statement to fill the tag and stand up to the bold colors on this card. I cut the Flourish flowers sizes out in Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Whisper White to play around with a combo I like for the flower on the front. I popped a large pearl (yes, I have few of these left for very special cards, but the enamel dots will work great, or even a small punched Whisper White circle).

And now it’s Friday again already, where’d the week go? Time to go check out this week’s SGGWW challenge to create another card! Thanks for stopping by!

Here’s the supplies for this card:

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
Appreciation can make someone’s day, even change their life.

So send this card to someone who needs it!
